Attorney Adler's practice is focused on personal injury law, including medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, slip and falls, negligence, products liability, worker's compensation, real estate disputes, contracts, and generally all forms of civil litigation. He also represents buyers and sellers in residential real estate transactions and handles the probate of estates. |

Steven A. Adler was born in Chicago, Illinois. He received a B.A. degree from the University of Maryland in 1973 and a J.D. degree, cum laude, from Vermont Law School in 1982, where he was a staff writer and an editor of the Vermont Law Review. Attorney Adler served as law clerk to the Chief Justice of the Vermont Supreme Court in 1982 and as law clerk to Associate Justice Ernest W. Gibson III in 1983. He was admitted to the Vermont bar in 1982. Attorney Adler is admitted to practice in all Vermont state courts, the U.S. District Court in the District of Vermont, and the U.S. Court of Appeals in the Second Circuit. He is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and is on the Board of Governors for the Vermont Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Adler devotes a considerable amount of his time to legal ethical issues, and served for 7 years, by appointment of the Vermont Supreme Court, as the Vice-Chair of the Professional Responsibility Board, which regulates attorney ethics in Vermont. He is a past president of the Caledonia County Bar Association and a member of the Vermont Bar Association. He is also active on the Vermont Trial Lawyers Association Medical Malpractice Committee and the Workers Compensation Committee. He has served on a number of local boards, was the Moderator for the Town of Barnet for 10 years and a member of the Board of Northeast Kingdom Youth Services for 12 years.
