James M. LaMonda, Esq.

James M. LaMonda is the newest attorney at Axelrod & Adler.  He was born in Middlebury, VT.  He earned an A.S. from Woodbury College, where he also completed Woodbury’s Mediation/Conflict Management program.  In 2003 he graduated summa cum laude from Norwich University, and in 2006 was awarded his law degree from Vermont Law School, graduating magna cum laude.  At Vermont Law School, Attorney LaMonda was a staff writer and member of the Senior Editorial Board of The Vermont Law Review. 

Mr. LaMonda has worked for the South Royalton Legal Clinic, the Vermont Defender General’s office, and was a graduate of Vermont Law School’s General Practice Program.  He has also worked for the Vermont Bar Association and Anthony Otis, Esq., performing legislative work in the Vermont State House in Montpelier. Mr. LaMonda is a member of the American Bar Association, the Vermont Bar Association and the Vermont Trial Lawyer’s Association.

Mr. LaMonda lives in Northfield, Vermont, and enjoys softball and golf, as well as Vermont history.
